Spring Layers and Linen Pants
Happy Monday darling,
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for this last week of March. I don't know about you, but I am so ready for April. I am ready for this crazy, in-between weather to be over. April is promising sunny days with warm, soft breezes and the smell of flowers in the air. Dreamy!
Today, I wanted to share a comfy outfit perfect for this transitional period in my favorite navy blue nautical. Old Navy went all out with cute, light button ups, perfect for layering under cardigans and sweatshirts.
I've been slowly falling in love with linen again for its breathable quality, but also because it feels so good against my skin. Linen, if taken care of, will last you for a long time, so this past summer I invested in a few pair of wide leg linen shorts and these pants from Nordstrom.
As for my hat, that is true vintage. I ended up selling most of my summer and retro hats when we moved from Los Angeles, so when I wanted to capture this look my mother-in-law offer a few options from her wardrobe. Hats are truly timeless.
As a girl from a small island the Mediterranean sea runs in my blood, and I always dream of boats and cruises, so I go by the marina often dreaming of summer days on a yacht. A girl can dream, and so she does!
